I came across this comment in the video of Mirrors, ye do not know if you already read but I think that pretty much sums up this couple..

" Perfect! Klaus and Hayley really are soul mates. It's not even because of the baby. It's because they have both gone through the greatest hardships no one should have to go through. They both were never loved, their parents rejected them, and now they are both damaged because of it. Deep down, through all the anger and resentment they both just want someone to love them.I think it would be great love story that instead of the "good girl" saving the bad boy from himself stuff that I see all the time, two damaged people can come together and find love and acceptance in one another. I also loved how they vowed to never to do their child what was done to them To always be there for their baby girl. Klaus and Hayley have everything they've ever wanted standing right in front of them, family, loyalty, power,and most importantly unconditional love.The sad thing is neither of them realizes it yet. But one day, they will."
